priesthood.

He has published approximately 75 articles on various aspects of church ministry, the priesthood, seminaries, social justice, multiculturalism and immigration. Father Hemrick has received a number of awards including the Bishop Loras Lane Award from the Seminary Department of the National Catholic Educational Association.

His latest book, Habits of the Priestly Heart is due to be published by J.S. Paluch, Co., Inc. this spring. He writes a widely distributed weekly column titled “Human Side” for the Catholic News Service. He conducts retreats for priests throughout the United States.
