The NFPC 42nd Annual Priests' Conference takes place from April 12-15 at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel in Houston, Texas

The 42nd Annual NFPC Conference for Priests. Our gathering will be held April 12-15, 2010 at the Hilton Post Oak Hotel in the Galleria district of Houston, Texas. The theme this year is "The Call to Holiness and Wholeness" and is open to all priests.

The conference will be an excellent opportunity to hear outstanding speakers such as Most Rev. John R. Quinn Archbishop emeritus of San Francisco, Rev. James Martin, SJ culture editor of America magazine, and author of the bestselling book My Life with the Saints, Rev. Lou Cameli, the writer and general editor of the Basic Plan for the Ongoing Formation of Priests and Rev. John Cecero, SJ, a clinical psychologist, and associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Fordham University. (Click here for Conference Highlights)

On Tuesday, April 13, Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, will preside at a liturgy at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Afterwards there will be a reception and dinner at the Cathedral Center.

The NFPC Priests' Conference provides an opportunity to gather resources, network with priests from around the US and other English speaking countries to discuss current issues facing the church and priesthood, and meet with representatives with the US Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Clergy, Consecrated Life and Vocations.


PRE-CONFERENCE RETREAT

This year arrangements have been made a special pre-conference retreat for priests featuring Rev. John Stoeger, Director of the Cardinal Manning House of Prayer for Priests in Los Angeles. The retreat will be offered on Monday, April 12. An additional fee is required to attend. (Click here for more retreat information)


CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

The fee for the four-day event is $490 per person. This includes all events and materials, including dinner on Tuesday as well as the closing reception/banquet Thursday evening (there is an additional fee for the pre-conference retreat). Individual days are also available for just $125 per day, and the Thursday evening reception/banquet is available for just $60 per person. Many priests who attend pay for the event out of their continuing education funds. Please register early so we can send you confirmation information as soon as possible. HOTEL ROOM ACCOMMODATIONS

Guest rooms for the conference are available at the Hilton Post Oak Hotel, 2001 Post Oak Blvd. in Houston. Please make your hotel arrangements separately from the convention registration. The Hotel reservation number is 713-961-9300 or call toll free at 800- 774-1500. The special NFPC rate for this event is $159.00 (single/double occupancy) so be sure to mention the "NFPC Conference."
