Testimonials from the National Organization for Continuing Education of Roman Catholic Clergy and National Association of Church Personnel Administrators
NFPC 40th Anniversary Banquet Rosen Plaza Hotel
Orlando, Florida | April 23, 2008

NOCERCC Testimonial presented by James H. Alphen, Executive Director, accompanied by Rev. Daniel E. Danielson and Rev. G. Nick Rice
With Father Dan Danielson and Father Nick Rice, two of NOCERCCs founders, and on behalf of all our colleagues in the National Organization for Continuing Education of Roman Catholic Clergy, I offer you our prayers and congratulations as we celebrate forty years of the National Federation of Priests Councils faithful leadership in the church.
NOCERCC remembers with great gratitude our roots in your pioneering commitment to the Second Vatican Councils mandate to renew both initial and ongoing formation of priests. Since NOCERCCs founding in 1973 to champion the mission that NFPC entrusted to us, we have dedicated all our organizations energies and resources to promote and support ongoing formation for priests and presbyterates.
Thanking God for the cooperation, past and present, in so many ways between our two organizations, NOCERCC looks forward with great hope to many opportunities for ever more fruitful collaboration in the years to come. May the one who began a good work in you [...] continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).
NACPA Testimonial presented by Mary Jo Moran, Executive Director
It is my privilege and honor to extend congratulations and best wishes to NFPC from the National Association of Church Personnel Administrators the occasion of your 40th anniversary. Thirty-seven years ago NFPC gave birth to NACPA as a separate organization in order to better serve NFPCs goal of bringing justice to the workplace where the Church is the employer. NACPA has worked hard to stay faithful to your vision.
Over the years NACPA has never forgotten its roots and we try to serve you in whatever capacities we can. Today NACPA has over 200 priest members and
we are very intentional about having at least one priest serve on our 8-member Board. Monsignor Terry Watanabe just finished 8 and one-half years on NACPAs Board and Father Pat Pollard has just begun his tenure on NACPAs board. Bill Daly has also just completed the latest edition of The Laborer is Worthy of His Hire, which NACPA produces every three years for NFPC.
Like NFPC, NACPA has been looking to renew itself and the desire to renew has brought both organizations more closely together again. Today NFPC and NACPA are working together on several initiatives that serve the Church in the United States. We are grateful for your service to the Church and are happy to be able to join you in this wonderful celebration. May you have many, many, many years to come. God bless each of you and all you do.
